I want to start a database of people and their horses and symptoms, to see if I can pinpoint some common factors within their environment.

I now have two horses in the same paddock at Maraylya with HS. Ty my stockhorse started tossing late October 09 and is now boxed each day from 8 through to 6. He is not able to be ridden, and in some cases I can’t even hang on to him it’s that extreme. He has been on 3 types of drugs to date with no improvement, the only common factor between the two is that they both have mucus nodules right up the back of their nose, and it’s extremely inflamed.

Another interesting fact is that from the time we moved here, it was exactly 4 years when Mac started, and now Ty is also exactly 4 years, so with no head shakers around me, there is something close or on my property that is affecting them.

If I could get this out to everyone, and hopefully we can find something common, all data I gather will be sent out to anyone with the same condition in the hope that it could help them as well.

Thanks for your help with this, I am at an absolute loss with this, and I haven’t been on a horse since early October, so that just adding to the frustration.
