About this horse blog
For quite a few years now I have been, and still am, on a path of self discovery and, at times it isn’t easy. My horses have played a major role in helping me along this path and for that I am forever grateful.
I am passionate about horses and I have a great appreciation for the gifts that horses give us. Two years ago my husband and I became involved with Riding for the Disabled (RDA). It is so rewarding to see the smiles on peoples faces as they ride, to watch people improve mentally and physically from riding the horses or by seeing the shear joy people get from just being near such an amazing animal. For this reason we find ourselves becoming more and more involved with RDA and it’s a wonderful journey.
We have thirteen horses, most of them have been rescued in one form or another. A lot of them help, or will be helping RDA. ALL of them bring something special to our lives and one day I would like to tell you about each of them.
The purpose of this blog is to share the stories of horses helping people and the huge role they play in our lives. There are also many wonderful people out there who help our horses emotionally, mentally and physically and I would like to share those stories as well.
I know not everyone shares the same view but whether you do or don’t, I hope that you will take a look and perhaps have input along the way.
Thanks for taking to the time to take a look at my horse blog
